Spring Break Intermission:
My mind has been flipped upside down with all of the things I am trying to cram into one week, AND being sick. I'm so tough. Ok, so St. Augustine was awesome, the fest was alright, despite the annoying, stupid punk kids. They should really stop breeding. ugh.. And of course, The National was the best band, but there were a lot of other great bands too.
Sexy for a 36 year old, right? Get the album Boxer, you won't regret it.
Ro was awesome enough to let me be sick and have a fever at her place for the weekend. (Bats!) Her place was so cool, and right across the street from the Old Jail, and the Fountain of Youth!
On Sunday, the best day, Karsten took me for a ride, which were the fastest swings I'd ever been on. I'm pretty sure they were unsafe, but nonetheless still fun.
I went home during the week went to a bunch of doctor appointments, and on the last day Rachel was unexpectedly in town which was perfect! We went to the beach with our Foster's, and on the drive back to my house, found this kid:
Addie!!!!!
So basically, things worked out for my spring break after all... BUT it's not over yet... Maverick escaped, and we have to wait for her to come back, so we can leave for Tampa tonight.... Hooray!

Burnish the Day:
It's been a while since I've been on here I know, but this is kind of like a two-in-one blog..
So Gainesville Fashion Week was fun and especially entertaining because Zach Braff decided to drop by (no joke). If you don't know who he is, just watch the show Scrubs, and look for the cute Jewish guy. Any way, it was fun, shot some photos, blahbitty blah blah.

Runway before the show.

That's Zach Braff in the hat next to Gustavo. Sorry about the quality, I was really excited.

Janice totally worked that shit.

I love Megan's feet placement in this photo.
As for part two:
Nick and Tim came for a visit over the weekend, and it was the most drunk I have been in Gainesville. I love those guys... Too fun, and I'm so happy for Tim. Congrats!

YEAH!

Thank you St. Valentine
This is possibly one of the most awesome things to have walked the Earth:

This was our baked brie for dessert at The Jones. Yes, the serve dinner now, and it's much more worth it than breakfast.

You wish you could join our gang.

I admired this bumper sticker a lot. It's kind of like saying, "I don't discriminate against vampires."

Cheers to our first official Valentine's Day together...

These Days:
Today was just one of those days. You wake up, weather is perfect, sun is shining, but its not humid. No matter how bad things may be going, you can't help but feel warm inside. I get to wake up every morning to Maverick waiting in the window like this.
I love our new home.
We did this together.
This is home.

OOOHH GOOD.
Bad headache today, and this was the theme song everybody was singing (makes me laugh everytime). I recently discovered that my small camera is a huge piece of crap that refuses to work right anymore, and I don't have any money for film either.. :( But playing Apples to Apples until 4:30 in the morning with some strangers that came over with a friend, after a night of dancing at the Neon Liger will keep me motivated until next weekend. Until then, I need to search for a gym. blah.

Chivalrous Sharks:
I drew that on the refrigerator at the party we went to. Last night turned out to be a lot of good fun, and we didn't have to spend any money! We don't have any money to spend, so it's nice we had some friends come through. AND I learned a good lesson. If you're a quiet, curly red headed girl that stands around long enough, guys will do stuff for you. NO LIE. My awesome neighbor/friend came along to two different parties and I watched in amazement how she unintentionally had guys give her stuff, and do things for her.
Someone at the party decided to stab a hole into all of the plastic cups, and we were sad and thirsty. A random guy picked up on Heather's disappointment, and searched far and wide to get us cups. We joined him at the "watering hole" only to discover Heather still had a leak her cup. I watched a guy save her beer by giving his cup, and running back to find himself a cup. Amazing.
Exhibit B:
Heather and I decided to take a break from the loud, drunk girls and go outside and have a chat. Not even 30 seconds of shivering in 20 degree weather, a guy gives her his sweater because he didn't want her to freeze. She doesn't even need to say anything! It's amazing. I've never seen anything like it.

First Blog, Lirst Schmog:

I tried to ride against the river for as long as I could, but after taking a Mass Media and You class, I can see why people are blogging. My teacher is way out there, always saying, "Blahbitty blah blah.." and cracking jokes to make our class of 240 students to laugh. My favorite class ever.
If you want to know see who she is just click the link:

Anyway, back to what we were talking about. I just figured if there is a woman who can get international attention for being crazy enough to give birth to 8 kids at once that were artificially inseminated, and Michael Phelps can win 8 gold medals and then try do be another college kid in the crowd while his ass hole friend takes a photo of him doing the drug to sell it for money, then what could my little blog hurt? So I really wanted to try to update this for the purpose of my photography. I'm going to try my hardest to get a photo to put up everyday (even though that is impossible).
I guess I'm just going to have to join the rest of the self-indulgent people in the world. Survival of the fittest, right?
